Maxwell's Covent Garden London Visit May 2016
Maxwell's Covent Garden London Visit May 2016

Although I'm not a lover of living in London (even though I'm from there), visiting it this week as been fantastic. This is what being in business for yourself working from home is all about. From the ride on the train coming up and going back home, to afternoon lunch in Maxwell's Covent Garden to visiting friends in Bromley Kent. It's all been one exciting experience.

Me and Mandy in Maxwell's
This is an images of me and Mandy (A very good friend) having lunch at Maxwell's in Covent Garden. This was our first meeting after meeting on Facebook.  We are both in the same online business, and that's how we met.

The most emotional part is when I got off the train at Penge East Station and walked down the road I grew up, seeing our old house that is now turned into two or three flats! That part was very hard to take in.

Seeing my youngest son, my brothers, my nephews and the rest of the family and friends was fantastic.

This is an image of the Shard at London Bridge.  Just one almighty glass house built at a funny angle.

What I really like about London though, is the transport. It's so easy to get around London it's unbelievable. I topped up my Oyster Card and just jumped on the bus, tube or overground and just relax. No problem.

Getting on the train from Penge East to come back was a bit emotional, but if I'm honest, it was good to get away from the pollution. I just love the country air, so it was good to get back to the country of Plymouth.

I want to thank My Advertising Pays and Traffic Monsoon for giving me the opportunity to be my own boss and allow me to have trips like this. You're both awesome opportunities.
